Although crafters who have bought the Wardell book "Mirrors and Frames" will recognise this design of mirror - Shirley was inspired by seeing a wooden-framed mirror in a craft shop to draw out her own pattern for her second project on Christchurch Adult Education evening classes. Much smaller than the one in the book (hers measures about 6 inches across) it was probably more difficult to make than the original, as cutting thin strips of glass was not her most favorite task!
